Linux Virtualization Testimonial from the University of South Florida' SOFTICE Project

I am writing on behalf of Matthew Rideout, a graduate from our Information Technology degree program at the University of South Florida's Lakeland campus.

While Mr. Rideout has always been an excellent student, he has further distinguished himself since graduation by becoming an important and instrumental contributor in a research project funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF). This project eliminates the need for inefficient, dedicated computing laboratories for the study of operating systems and networks, and allows those topics to be safely experimented with over the Internet. His extensive understanding of networking technologies and Linux system administration made him a key resource for the investigators on the project.

He has also demonstrated that he is a reliable and trustworthy employee, adapting his schedule to fit the needs of the project and always being there as arranged.
